In this delightful illustration, by the greatest (IMHO*) illustrator of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Sir John Tenniel, our heroine, Alice has found the bottle labled 'Drink Me' and followed the instruction as a good girl would. Yes, I know that the potion makes Alice shrink, and it is the 'Taste Me' cake which makes her grow, but, once she has grown enough to reach the golden key she must drink the potion again in order to shrink sufficiently to go through the door which the little golden key opens. Whew...
